The compact, ergonomic and durable construction guarantees easy one-handed use. For maximum speed, efficiency and versatility, the Dolphin 7900 is equipped with an Intel PXA255 400 MHz XScale processor as well as Windows Mobile 5.0. For secure archiving of application data, the integrated memory 64MB RAM/Flash can be upgraded by up to 256 MB RAM using the Mini SD memory expansion.
Equipped with a 2D imager, you scan all linear and 2D bar codes, and at the same time read digital images such as signatures. The patented Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0 also offers high-class scanning and processing. The combination of area imager with high-end scanning performance, the 9.7 cm 3.8 TFT colour display with touch screen and the ergonomic keypad with 24 keys optionally with 36 keys for easy handling guarantee you total flexibility in their daily work environment.
Along with the RS232 and USB interfaces, the 7900 additionally has four integrated radio standards with IrDA, Bluetooth1.2, Wi-Fi 802.11b and GSM/GPRS, wireless data and voice communication is always guaranteed. This innovative combination guarantees that the terminal remains in contact with every compatible wireless device. The high processing power of the system architecture is powered by a large capacity lithium-ion battery, which is uninterruptedly replaceable during operation. In cordless operation you are guaranteed higher scanning volumes as well as longer operation times than with comparable devices of competitors, while also enormously expanding you performance.
You can optionally get the Dolphin 7900 with integrated GPS antenna, with which you can professionally implement navigation solutions and provide you with a mobile terminal that leaves nothing to be desired.
